When we designed our Craft Beer & City Tour in Rethymno's Old Town , back in September 2021, our vision was to create an experience for all the beer lovers visiting Rethymno Crete.

It took us, no less than 3 years to completely understand the local market & the guests that are visiting Rethymno. They are both almost completely different than Chania.

The decision that we made was to simplify the tour and make it as approachable as possible, to all the beer lovers of Rethymno: we shaped the tour as a beer tasting session and walking tour, we designed an alternative route through the non-touristy areas of Old Town, we added more craft beer of different styles & brewers, we added a super tasty finger food plateau at the end of the tour & finally we reduced the rate, so it pairs with financial profile of Rethymno visitors.

We created a beer tasting experience with fascinating local stories, culture, fun which is also a crash course in beer. Every detail is set to awaken your senses and invite you deeper into the wonderful & absolutely delicious world of Greek craft beer.

What it's all about

An Alternative Way to Discover Rethymno's Old Town & the Greek Beer Scene!

This tour is a great mix of unique beer flavours from the local craft beer scene, carefully selected from a passionate local guide.

Together with the fun atmosphere, the lesser known routes that we'll take, the local beer stories & Cretan history, we've created an experience to remember!

Itinerary

Tour starts by welcoming our guests with a refreshing beer and an introduction to the local craft beer scene ( and beer in general ), at the best Craft beer pub in Rethymno.

Then, we'll make our way through the less known pedestrian streets Old Town, discovering its multi-cultural history & iconic monuments. This is a great way to take the orientation of the Town as well.

Next stop is a well camouflaged Craft beer hangout, for a multi beer style tasting session that will showcase great brews, matching guests' preferences & what's seasonal.

We'll continue our slow pace walk, to one of the best photo points, towards our final stop.

There, you'll enjoy a beer on tap of your choice & super tasty - quality finger food.
