Back in 2007, ''Bossa Nova beer Bar chania'' opened its gates for the first time to beer lovers & foodies from all the world.

Bonnie and Clyde Urban Tours, is an awesome Non-Touristy Travel Agency based in Chania, Crete, Greece, specialized in Craft Beer, Cretan Gastronomy, Local Culture and

our non-touristy tours are always in small or private groups.

Having started the first ever Craft Beer Tours in Greece (Crete island, Chania & Rethymno) back in 2021, we decided to support only local businesses, like Bossa Nova Restaurant & Beer Bar.

Bossa Nova Restaurant & Beer Bar might be the most iconic & a must visit beer place in Chania.

Bossa Nova, The Beer Bar

It is located in a bamboo covered silent area in the village of Gerani, just 15 kms. north-west from Chania's city center.

Their beer catalogue includes more than 100 beers sourced from all over the world. They have found a way to make all these beer styles accessible to the local community but also to the travellers and beer lovers from all over the world, that are visiting Chania,

Very often, we get surprised by the unique beers that we can find & taste there.

Traditional Belgian beer styles, Gose, Sours, or Pale Ales, Stouts, IPA's, Lagers & Pilsners are represented in the beer catalogue.

There is also a small but carefully selected menu from Greek craft microbreweries.

In case you cannot decide what beer to order or it isn't clear what is what, no worries, just ask Nektarios, one of the owners & the heart of Bossa Nova.

He knows the beers very well and he has also brewing knowledges.

During our visit in the place, he shared with us that he has the special beer glass for each of the beers he serves. Overall, there are over 2.000 glasses inside the bar!

Bossa Nova, The Restaurant

Bossa Nova's restaurant menu has an ethnic-fusion style rooted in Greek cuisine & the local products.

You may find tasty burgers, vegetarian options, pasta or salads. A big plus is the meze (tapas) plates that will go hand-in-hand with your beer.

One thing is more than certain: you won’t leave the place hungry!

At the head of the restaurant menu is Tina, who brings a tasty flair to the gastronomic experience.
